    Sorry to revive an old thread but I cant find an answer any where else. I want to install the block heater as described in this thread, however, in my 3110d there is a hose coming from where the plug should be and runs down into another fitting. Any ideas what this hose is for? I cannt find any...

    Timberhole; when you used that sleeve, were you able to use the original sized seals or did you have to use something else? I pulled the left side off and found I need to sleeve it....among finding all the bearings shot in that side...:thumbdown:

    Yes that is correct. They pumped everything full of grease. They put bolts with zerks anywhere the drain bolts are. The area where I replaced the seals wasnt really too full and is clean now. The portion of the gear box that the rim bolts onto can pulled apart. Maybe I should do that to clean...
