Unfortunately I did not take pictures when reassembling but here are a few pictures of the broken oil seal. In the Youtube link above the guy states it is a two piece seal. That maybe the case on a BX, but not on a B21. I did have to apply heat to the seal on the axle to remove it for about 10...
Can anyone explain how to adjust the rock force on the front axle of a B21. The shop manual shows the use of a spring scale and specs but not actually how to do it.
Recently I replaced all the hoses on the backhoe. While doing so I removed the Boom cylinder (the one inside the boom) to install new lines. Before reinstalling it I wanted to test the connections for leaks. I was told that I could start the tractor and test the cylinder while it was on the...
Thinking about installing one on my B21. Can anyone direct me to a thread dealing with an install on a B21? Honestly spent 4 hours with the search function and found nothing on the B21.
Can anyone tell me if this seal is removable? It does not show in the parts manual or in the shop manual. Part #60 seal would rest against it. Is part 60 a two piece seal????
I have searched for B21 specific threads about this issue but really did not find any. Mine is leaking from the right front axle after it turns down behind the wheel. Are B21 series different then others? Can anyone direct me to an thread regarding the issue on a B21? Thanks in advance.
I know there are numerous threads about choosing tractors but with so many it gets little confusing.
I live on 3 1/2 gently sloped acres with a lot of rocks/boulders. The type where you find a dirt spot dig a hole and hit more rock type acres. Pretty much have all the surface rock where I want...
Well after leveling the frame. I then used a 6ft straight edge across rear of frame to use as a point to measure forward to boom supports and then to boom cross member. I知 off 1/2 inch low side of boom to rear of tractor. Measurements to supports are good.
All the comp links are good except...
Re: Straightening bent TL421 Boom on my B21!
I put the FEL back on the tractor and put the tractor on level stands front and back. Here are some pictures hopefully showing how bent the loader is down to the left. Picture showing a prior repair as well. Measuring across top of boom from rear...
Few months back I ran over a large rock that fell out of my bucket. Turns out it bent the hydraulic oil tank bottom. So today I straightened it. It was dented in about 3/4 of an inch at its worst spot which happened to be at the drain plug.
Cleaned the tank and strainer while doing so. No...
Just a quick update. Clutch shaft, throughout bearing and spring all replaced. New bushing in flywheel, pressure plate and friction plate installed. Included a better picture of the damaged old clutch shaft.
Anybody out there have a TL421 in good shape out there? My loader was repaired by the prior owner, it’s welded wrong at the lower arm behind the bucket. Can’t be repaired because the loader appears to be tweaked.
Well the split is going fairly smooth. My only issue is removing the front propeller shaft. By mistake I removed the pins at both ends and cannot get it to release and drop. Also I found out that my front axle was basically bone dry. Appears I have a leaking seal on right side. I’ll address that...
