So I'm trying to get the gear box out but I cannot get the bottom part where the blades attach off, any ideas?

I have a Massey Ferguson 1742 with 42 hp and 32 PTO hp and have a bush hog 296 with a 135 rated HP gear box and suggests a minimum of 45 PTO hp for this brush hog...was worried I'd break something on my tractor but made sure everything was lubed and moving and she spun it wonderfully...going...

Normally I move trees either whole or in two maybe three pieces at most, never been disappointed is what she can move yet only that she doesn't weigh enough

Hey everyone, coming up on 44 hours on this beast...only complaint I have about it is it's fel lifting capacity, I feel like I should be able to move a pallet of wood pellets, yet needed to take a good ten 20lb bags off, probably a few more... And still wasn't able to lift out of a truck bed...
