    Request for info: 3PH 'leveling box' (side link) dimensions on Case IH 595, 895, 995 or International 464 684 454 484 574 784 584 674 884 402635R4

If you own one of these models, can you tell me the diameter of the pins at top & bottom of the side link, and the approximate distance between the pins (from hydraulic arm to lower link)? The part that fits these tractors seems to be quite common, but none of the vendors offer actual...

'Leveling box' adjustable link for Kubota M4700 needed

Thanks for the tip, but no joy on Rural King. We do have several Tractor Supply locations, but their links are all made like a top-link, with a 'cross' welded on the body to turn it. That may be what I end up with, but the crank would be worth a little extra money if I can find one that fits.

'Leveling box' adjustable link for Kubota M4700 needed

Hi, My M4700 came with a pair of manual-adjust (disconnect to adjust) leveling links in the Cat 2 3PH system. I'd like to replace one with a true adjustable link; preferably one with a crank handle. But the 'genuine article from Kubota is priced at about $800 and I'm not going there. There are...

    Favorite diesel can?

Was trying to address the issue of finding affordable 3 gallon cans mentioned in the post just before mine. No disagreement on the utility of having a 'proper' fuel tank with pump, if you need it and/or want to spend the money. Oh, and also have the means to move the larger tank; not all of us...

    Favorite diesel can?

If weight is the primary issue, what's wrong with just putting 3 gallons in a 5 gallon can? Not that much difference in storage space. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just use a cut down old 1gal milk jug as a funnel, and pour without any hose at all on the can.

    Favorite diesel can?

The roofing screw thing wasn't a serious suggestion for something with fuel in it. But a condensate drain in a tank really should have some sort of 'sump' that will reliably collect water; not easily achieved with a typical drum. Anything sticking out is going to be vulnerable to getting...

    What is it worth

Hey, it's farm equipment. If the goal is to restore to museum display quality, that's one thing. If you want it to work, just measure the dimensions and find something 'close enough' and make it fit. There are *thousands* (probably tens of thousands) of radiator designs out there from OEM-spec...

Advice on 6' mower to replace King Kutter

That is a *much* better design (at least from looking at a pic) than the 7' mower. In addition to having the wheels out where they belong, it's *shorter*, without the pointless extra 15-18" of length driven by having the center spindle aft of the outer spindles on the 7' mower and the loooong...

Advice on 6' mower to replace King Kutter

Heh heh heh.... Maybe the old ones are better. But if it's an HDTH? See my earlier post with pics from a 7' (84"). And BH's '15-35 HP' for 60"-99" mowers is...let's call it optimistic. I'm running a 45 HP tractor and it's *adequate* for a 7' mower. as long as you're just grooming and not trying...

Advice on 6' mower to replace King Kutter

I'm glad for you guys with 6' versions of the BH, but the 7' is a screaming disaster. 1st copy 'ready to cut' had only water in the gearbox, and a couple of the vertical shafts for the wheel assys about 4 degrees out of vertical, and at least half the MIG welds on the frame were just 'calked'...

Advice on 6' mower to replace King Kutter

I got about 20 years out of a King Kutter 7' mower, by spending more on it in parts (and ignoring my labor) over the years than the original purchase price. ~3 acre yard weekly and a 22 acre runway 3 or 4 times a season (rotating duties with the neighbors). Spindle bearings rarely lasted a full...

    M4700 transmission ratios/speeds

I wish; it had around 700 hrs when I bought it. New is playing in another universe for me. ;-)
