You Know You Are Old When

Just discovered another today.......... When your butt disappears from old age and your jeans falling down are a source of true aggravation ...... You realize what a brilliant idea suspenders are.

Sorta embarrassed to ask ... I should really know.

Been a few months but I finally remembered to get a photo of the solution I ended with.

    Old Plow

I have seven of them that dad got at auctions & gave my wife over the years that are displayed. I keep the metal painted and the wood soaked with linseed twice a year.

    Dogs.

Here's a reason to have small mutts .... mine are both over 100 pounds. On Juy 5th I was walking to the lower barns and the heathens ran behind me coming to look for a rabbit to chase for giggles. The female ( on the left ) does not look were she runs and hit me square in the back of the legs. I...

    Grease for mower deck spindles?

I'll just mention my experience ....... depends on the make of the machine. At one point I had three MTD Yardman machines and the spindle bearings were very easy to replace. I just bought a roll of bearings. Then I got a Husqvarna machine and the bottom spindle bearing is pressed on making it...

Where do you park your tractor when not in use, inside/outside/Covered outside?

I'm lucky ........ All equipment inside the pole barn or one of the four garage stalls.

Sorta embarrassed to ask ... I should really know.

So ... my probable solution will be to remove the lift links from the draft arms ... insert a draw bar in the draft arms and find a "neat" way to tie the arms up attached to the top link connection pin. I recall my father left behind some 1" ropes that had the ends braided together forming a...

Would closing that valve also prohibit the mower mid deck arms from lowering ?
