Another Brush Hog Post! Advice On a 5-6 Foot Medium Duty Hog.

I have a Woods BB60x and highly recommend it! It handles the rough stuff, and can handle general mowing duties with a near finishing mower appearance. I keep a set of blades for the rougher stuff and a good sharp set for our pasture which is all grass. Woods cutters are very easy and quick to...

    Rotary Mower Advice Needed

In February, I purchased a new MF 1835M and traded my trusty old MF1540. The new 1835 is a bigger and wider machine and seems to have plenty of power. I have had a Woods BB60X rotary for quite some time I bought new and is in excellent condition and cuts very well. The problem is that the 1835...

    Fender vs loader mounted valve

My thoughts exactly. My 1540 was loader mount and my 1835 is fender. Honestly, the fender mount is closer and maybe more user friendly far as reach goes. But I also never had an issue at all with the loader mounted either.

Great machine and I love mine so far! I have no experience with the hydraulic top link though, but I’m sure someone will be along to help out! Enjoy that new tractor!

Who makes a good trailer tire?

We have a pile of trailers including 5th wheel campers, gooseneck horse trailer, 2 flat bed equipment trailers, couple utility trailers and a 12ft dump trailer. The best two tires we have used is the GY Endurance and the Carlisle Radial HD. Also Maxxis were pretty good also, but the last set did...

Well, fuel efficiency so far is good. The tractor was filled at purchase and had roughly 3.5 hours on it. I’m now at 15 hours give or take and still at half tank. Now I haven’t done anything really strenuous yet either, just general tasks around the house and some driveway scraping with the...

    Widening tires

Yes (at least with Massey) as that's what I've had and would imagine Kubota is the same. Simply move the front tires from one side to the other. The inside of the wheel is offset on one side and inset on the other. Hope this makes sense.

Absolutely on the foot throttle. I came out of a 2005 MF 1540 and the foot throttle on it was much better. As you said, its too far back on this one which I also believe is due to the fender mounted loader control. And I too was in the same situation on the 1840. My dealer doesn't even stock...

Well I can say that so far I absolutely love my 1835M. I'm at 14+- hours no and no regeneration so far, but I do keep it idled up and try to let it heat up good. I haven't ran a mower behind it yet, so can't comment on PTO power just yet, but springs just around the corner! But I must ask, with...

Good evening all! So I have been a long time lurker here and this is my first post and I'm happy to be here! As the title says, I just took delivery of a new MF 1835M Power Shuttle. I haven't even got to work the machine yet, just setting it up and getting ready. I traded in my 2005 1540 which...
