John Kamau, born in 1984 in Nyeri, Kenya, is an accomplished agriculture expert and innovator with over 15 years of experience in the field. He has dedicated his career to promoting sustainable agriculture practices, improving food security, and transforming the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Africa and beyond.
John obtained his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Nairobi, and later pursued his Master's in Agronomy at the prestigious Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Driven by his passion for research and innovation, John earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis.
Throughout his career, John has worked with various international organizations, including the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and the World Bank. As an agriculture expert, he has led numerous projects focused on improving agricultural productivity, promoting climate-smart farming, and enhancing rural development.
