LA’s totally awesome is by far my favorite for both cost and effectiveness. 6.50/gallon at local dollar general. I’ll spray it on dried on spray material on orchard sprayer, let set for few minutes and pressure wash away, also excellent on grease and many other stains.
No , you’re relief valve setting will always be your high pressure limit. With the same gallons per minute flow the retract side of cyl will be faster than extend side. This is because the cylinder rod is taking up space on retract side and creating a smaller cavity to fill.
Safest way to increase the force without harming the old low pressure system in that Deere is to mount a larger diameter cylinder to the splitter. Just going from a 4”to 5” diameter cylinder would increase the force from ~15000lbs to about ~23500lbs which is over a 50% increase. Only drawback is...
I think if I had a quite a few of these concrete barriers to move and stack I’d rent a scissor clamp that’s designed for them .i wouldn’t think the cost would be much compared to the ease and ability to move and stack them very efficiently.
I think a set up like that would work pretty good for a one man band to pick rocks out of a open field, especially bigger rocks. Could cover about a forty foot swath with a machine that size. Would definitely want a thumb.
I’m not 100% certain but I think those gold plunger guides will just pry out with a screwdriver, once you remove the control stick and wobble plate.
On the outside of gold guides I think you’ll find a o ring that could be source of weep. Below the plunger will be your control spool which may...
Any chance it was used in a fruit orchard? Possibly the dealer or the owner/owners modified it underslung to keep it out of the tree limbs.
Properly designed orchard tractors always have a under slung or side exhaust. I had to look at tractor data to see that it was originally a tricycle row...
I think the lions share of weight difference is in the Massey’s rear end, really stout looking rear axle and 3pt hitch assembly. I’d be leaning towards the MF for the extra built in weight for my uses.
Been out pushing 6 stump/brush piles together for better burning when the weather is right.
Neighbor’s like to get in on the opportunity to get rid of they’re yard debris 😁
I’ve not had the issue with my Deere’s but I believe theirs a fine screen/ filter in your tank that your fuel supply line hooks to. I don’t think it’s to much of a job to extract it from the outside and clean or replace it.
