PERMANENT MT 125 backhoe joystick FIX

This fix is cheaper, quicker to get parts and better quality than new LS part. Just takes a little extra time. Joystick on backhoe and FEL are not very robust. I have gone through 2 ball end links on FEL (broken housing) within 50 hours and two on backhoe (wallered out housing) in about ~50...

China made 3 cylinder diesel for sale on Craigslist. Probably fits multiple chinese tractors Tytan and ?

Yeah, the neither the tractor or engines were made in Canada. The seller doesn't really seem to know what he has sitting there. And I agree the price is high. Probably worth $1000-$1500 to someone who needs it. Everything is negotiable.

China made 3 cylinder diesel for sale on Craigslist. Probably fits multiple chinese tractors Tytan and ?

Ran across this add selling ZN390 diesel engine. This engine may be of use to chinese tractor owners. Was probably found in multiple Tytan models which were rebranded tractors, I don't really know just posting in case someone on here is looking. This is not my add, just posting as FYI...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Rob, I thought it was something from the factory, but maybe that's right. Could be clay contamination + water and oil as you said. Regardless, it's all gone. Inside is reasonably clean. I didn't go crazy, just hand cleaned to get rid of 95% of the gunk on inside of the case. All the parts...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Backlash .3mm Cleaned and reassembled. Assembly is not trivial. Took me 4 (maybe 5) tries to get the right technique and order of assembly for the main and secondary shaft. Brakes are next.

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Gears clean and ready for assembly. There were two spacers (one thin one thick) where the part diagram said there was one, but that wasn't the issue. Issues was the rear bearing wouldn't budge in housing. This prevented the main shaft with pinion from adjusting with shims. Brakes and axles...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Took 2-3 hours to take pinion shaft out. EVERTHING has to come out including PTO gear to get at pinion. Now I'll clean everything real good and start re-assembly. I think there are two spacers where it shows 1 in the part manual. Not sure if this was on purpose or not, have to investigate...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Items X'd out don't exist. Nut 4, bearing 7 and housing 8 along with shims sets the pinion depth. Housing 8 sits on outside front of rear casting. So more shims moves pinion forward away from ring gear. BUT, you can remove 4,7 and 8 and the pinion shaft will not move much further forward. Hope...

13 is an oring. 9, 10 and 11 are the shims. I think 31 is what's limiting further movement.

WANTED J285T BLOCK/ENGINE AND SERVICE BOOK

mercury, I have had luck with Aliexpress recently. Find a seller that has parts for that engine. Send them message via Aliexpress messaging requesting the part you need. They can probably locate the part. The seller I bought from made a custom package of several parts to buy for a set price...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Pinion is already shimmed away .080" from factory. DRIVEN SIDE: engagement is at the very inside tip of ring gear COAST SIDE I can't shim any further. It seems something on the shaft is limiting the movement. So I'm kinda stuck. There's very little wear on ring and pinion, but the hours...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

What have I done. Decided it would be prudent to check the rear diff as I am only 8 bolts (hydraulic tank) away, and you have to have the axles off to adjust. So pull the top tank off. Everything is in order. That's the good. Problem is the diff needs adjusted. When I try to adjust, I run...

    Kama KM554 rebuild and upgrades

Narrow 20 and 24" R-1 tires or short enough but load rating is too low for a 8-9k lb tractor. Would need duals.
