Went out to the barn this morning to plug the engine block heater in. Pulled the hood unlatch cable and found that the hood would not unlatch. When I pull the cable I can hear the a noise from the latch area but it is not releasing the hood. Any ideas on how to open the hood? Thanks.

31 degrees right now and rain on the way. Supposed to get up to 40 again today. They are predicting upper 40's tomorrow. The snow removal and snow mobilers aren't to happy this winter.

Just checked with a friend who lives 12 miles east and he said they haven't had any snow today. We now have almost 2 inches of snow. A county snow plow just went by. Maybe I'll put the plow on and go play for awhile. JMurry01, cute kitten or cat you have there.

I went to bed about 10:15 or so. For many years I used to get up at 3:00am for work. I'm used to running on 5-6 hours of sleep. Now that I'm retired I can always get a nap in later if I need it. Hope that you get some dry weather soon.

Here it's actually 2:30am. Fifty miles to the east its a hour later. I'll finish the Soduko from yesterday and work on the crossword puzzle for awhile. THe dogs already went back to bed.

Good morning! Up a little earlier than usual. The dogs are looking at me and wondering why aren't we sleeping still. It'll be another above normal temp around here today. They are predicting around 42 degrees again. Santa is going to have to put wheels on the sleigh for this area this year.
