Am I crazy to trade in?

The lack of information from the OP is a red flag. Especially when it is new poster with two posts. The OP should have shared more information. If I had a serious problem, I would have more posts than two and would be looking for advice on solving the problem instead of justifying trading...

    Polaris or CF Moto?

I had a Mule SX and got rid of it. Too loud and a rough ride. But it was bullet proof. I bought a CF Moto Uforce 1000 a few months ago and the only issue is a jerky start. I have been thinking about adding an electric golf cart for putzing around the property. Super quiet and no fuel...

    MechMaxx PTO Chipper

After getting their stump grinder, I am considering getting their chipper. Does anyone have any experience WITH IT. At $1800 is seems affordable.

Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

I stalled once with the pivot pins removed. It is not fool proof. But I work slower now and have not had it happen again.

Am I crazy to trade in?

Seems you have a dealer issue. Have the problem kicked up the ladder. I am no hydraulic expert but find it hard to believe your problem is not solvable. If, after 30 hours, you believe you bought the wrong machine for your needs, that is a different scenario. That happens so learn from it.

LOL...just wimps here in Michigan. Just over 8' is the ideal log length here. Logs are stacked on trailers and pups across the width of trailer. Most logged wood is going to firewood processors or to mills as pulp wood. Some veneer and furniture grade wood too. Anyway, my "baby"...

It depends. Do you have natural gas or propane? If you use electricity, what is your rate? Same for fuel oil. One benefit of wood is I can stock a three year supply and not worry about pricing or supply. I shop for logs and there is a lot of logging in my area. My last 80 logger...

Our logs here in Michigan are just over 8’ long. Allows enough to get six 16” rounds after allows for saw kerf.

WinterDeere, when they unload the trailer, use the logs as stringers. No need to supply any.

My skill set is sorely lacking. Felling large trees is not something I feel confident doing. A guy I know nearly died doing it and he was far more skilled than I. As to stacking wood, I no longer do it. The firewood I sell is run from the processor into the dump bed of an F250...

Tractors and wood! Show your pics

Once you start processing purchased logs you will not go back to harvesting logs...IF they are decent. Depending where you live, you may not be able to put the logs on the street. One ticked off neighbor is all it takes. Most neighbors will not complain if you talk to them ahead of time and...

WinterDeere, I use my grapple to load logs into the bed of the F250. The other option is to add something like Sawyer Rob uses on his pallet forks.
