Yea, the ROPS was a couple inches to high for my 8' garage door. Discovered that by impacting the frame the first time. Have since cut about 6" out of the top part of the ROPS and it now fits fine. See pic. Has been cleaned and painted after pic.

It is SO GOOD to see this thread active again. It has been so helpful to me in the past. Andy and DaBear have been especially helpful. Have been trying to steer 1045/55 owners from the Mahindra group on Facebook to this site also with little luck.

I have an 8' garage door and the ROPS is like 8'3-4" when raised. I had the ROPS cut down about 6" so it would fit. It is difficult to lower and raise routinely. See pic before painting.

DaBear...I recall you had busted gears in your front axle last? year and they repaired it rather quickly. Has it been fine since then? Did you ever get any feedback from Mahindra on what caused the failure? Thanks.
