Hey, wanted to say thank you. That nut on the linkage didn't look like it was loose but I tightened it maybe a quarter to half a turn anyway. That worked! Mower stays in place now. Again, appreciate it. Bill
Thanks for the reply. I'm in Virginia Beach working and the tractor is in Lexington but I only have the one lift control lever on the tractor. I think draft control has a second lever that you set but I'm not sure.
Thank you for the respsonse. I had already checked the round knob that adjusts the speed on the lift dropping. I hadn't checked on that nut that keeps tension on the lift lever. That sounds like a real possibility. I was looking for some kind of spring that came off the linkage or something but...
