    2515H Bent Loader hydraulics

I’ll give them a look as well. Just had a good chat with a rep at Northern Hydraulic who helped me suss out that it’s more just a matter of titling towards extra range with the longer stroke at 23.5 or keeping the same range with 18.25, but with a slightly greater retraction and slightly reduced...

    2515H Bent Loader hydraulics

Any chance you remember what size bore/stroke you went with for the chiefs? My BL15” loader is measuring at 51.5” extended and 33” retracted, giving a stroke length of 18.5”. But the 18.5” after markets show a slightly shorter extended/retracted length. (I do not have the secondary loader...

Tie rod end separation on 3515r

Here's what it looks like without the boot. I didn't feel any cracks in the housing. Is the socket designed to flex and give somewhat as a preventative measure? In that case it should be possible to squeeze it back in, but I wonder if the strength would be compromised at that point.

Tie rod end separation on 3515r

Hi all, caught my front right behind a tree while trying to maneuver in some time terrain. Is the fix for this simply throwing on a new tie rod end? I'm guessing this can't really be reconnected easily.

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

Surprisingly easy. The key for me was setting the jack stands rights at ground level where the tires had barely enough room to rotate freely. Working them off the studs wasn't as difficult as I thought given the weight of filled tires. The actual spacer install was very straightforward and I...

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

Clearance issues solved! Side-hilling is much nicer as well...

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

Ordered 3" Bro-tek spacers this morning. Should be fun to get them on with the tires already loaded, but this will hopefully resolve any clearance issues with the chains. It will also be nice to have the stability for side-hilling with the logs in the grapple (property has a good deal of slope).

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

You seem to be correct, there's maybe just over an inch clearance between the sidewall and the inner fender. Looks like I'll need to investigate wheel spacers.

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

One of the dealers up in WA mentioned that he's only heard about issues specifically with the cabs. I wonder if the clearances are different in that case? Sure will be nice once this thing gets delivered and I can just look at it for myself.

    Chain clearance on 15 series?

Hi all, I have a 3515r coming this week with a grapple and 64" blower. I have about 600ft of gravel driveway to maintain in the winter and have been looking at rear chains due to the decent slope coming up the last part of the drive. I've only used my neighbors JD970 with a bucket for this job...
