    Ripper teeth?

I have a couple of streets that get so hard the heavy pull type grader won't cut in. I'm thinking of building a ripper bar using shanks found on box blades less the box blade. How would these work on hard gravel streets. I could build it with alot of weight if needed. I see agri supply sells the...

B7610 Airfilter plugging with exhaust soot

The B7610 is plugging the air filter with exhaust soot. It plugs as such that I cannot even get it to flow air decent after blowing it out. The soot is too fine. The exhaust is getting sucked through the radiator turning the whole engine compartment black. I looked at adding a small extension to...

    Land pride 1672 RFM plugging

We have a 1672 Land Pride RFM at work. I'm having alot of trouble with it plugging. It's especially bad in the smooth brome grass but also plugs in the lawn. Dealer gave me some graphite (sp?) paint to try. before I try that is there a better solution? Smooth brome is mowed as high as the mower...

    B7610 hyd

When I check the hyd oil When I first pull out dip stick it's dry but after I put it back a pull it out again it shows slightly over full. Is this normal? It checks consistant each time after the fist check so I have been trusting the second check as correct and I have had to add oil a few...

    B7610 wheel wobble follow up.

This is a follow up to my previous post on B7610 wheel wobble. I asked the dealer to look at the wobble and they contacted kubota. The response was that wheel wobble is inherent to the design of the hub assembly and at the speed a B7610 operates at it is not a problem. I'm not sure what to think.

    B7610 high idle speed?

How fast are other B7610's running on high idle no load? Dealer came out today and turned ours up to 2,800 from 2,650.

    B7610 dino test results

I just had the B7610 to the dealer for the 50 hr service. I had them put it on the dino. Kubota specifications call for 18 pto hp @540 pto rpm. I called the Kubota regional service dept to confirm this as there spec. It does not have any where near 18 pto hp at 540 pto rpm. The dino we were...

    Feild cultivator project

Has any one built a 3pt Feild cultivator out of danish shanks (S tines)? If so are gage wheels required or are you able to carry it with the tractor ok? How wide and how well are you able to pull it? Did you need to add weight? What ground conditions? I was given a 75" wide 3 row (bar) section...

    Wood chipper power feed?

Hello, The municipality where I work has a Valby (sp?) 1,000 rpm PTO wood chipper that has a manual feed chute. It is not effective to use due to the time it takes to prep all branches so they go through the chute. Does a good job of chipping. We would get rid of it but found out it isn't worth...

    B7610 wheel wobble

The rear wheels on the B7610 wobble a lot. When we first got it one wobbled and one ran straight. They were in a wider position. I've since moved them in and out several times and now moved them in to the narrowest position where they will stay until worn out or a flat. I always figured I could...

    AGCO insights?

When we were looking for a compact for the city last year, 2 AGCO dealers submitted quotes for a ST25 25hp, ST30x 30hp, and ST32 32hp. I was particularly interested in the 30X and 32 as they were only 52" wide on R4's and offered far more pto hp than similar phisicaly sized competition. The...

    correct paint for B7610

What is the correct paint from Kubota for a B7610. Dealer had two shades and gave me Bright orange II. Is this the correct paint? I'm painting the rims and spacers I'm using for duals and it dosen't look right. More like a flat color than a gloss. Would like them to closely match. Thanks

Rear finish mower to pull type?

Any one make a 3 pt rfm into a pull type? Reason for this would be to eliminate side draft on the tractor on steep slopes and also avoid the swinging normal to the 3pt design. I know they make pull types in the larger sizes but was unable to find any in the 72" size which is the max I can pull...
