    Good morning!!!!

    Another Chicken Tractor Project

Some friends brought my 4 yr. old granddaughter a hen setting on 5 eggs in a small cage. So, I had to build something when they hatched. I looked at pics and plans for mobile chicken pens (chicken tractors) and had some old treated lumber laying around. So here goes my first project to post to...

Proud owner of a Ferris IS1500Z

After much consideration and trying other ZTR's I finally settled on a Ferris IS1500z with the Kawasaki engine and 52" cut. The suspension was great since I have a rather rough yard. The steering was a little hard to get used to and I'm still not great at it. I use a 8 wheel Argo for surveying...

Kinda Simple - But It Worked For Me

Of all of the build-it-yourself posts this probably is the simplest and least complicated. But thought someone might use the idea. There's lots of ways to improve it but I needed something real quick to cover my seeds in the garden rows. Took about 5 minutes or so. Just drag it along and it...

    New KK 60" pto tiller

Bought a KK 60 pto tiller last Sat. on sale. Had to shorten the pto shaft about 3" to fit on the B7800. After some fertilizer, lime and old straw, this is my #2 son tilling it under. (I walk along and pick up rocks). Sold the big TroyBilt and the new KK seems to be doing a fine job.

    What the game cam caught

Live on a dead end road and had a little too much traffic going up and down the road for my taste...neighbors have reported stolen items, etc. So...I put up a game cam with infrared flash across the road from my driveway pointing up my driveway hopefully to have some evidence if anything came...

    Upgrading from B7800

It's came down to either a Kubota L3400HST or a Kioti CK35HST, both with FEL. I'm trading a 2005 B7800 with 110 hrs. Some of my observations: CK35: more comfortable suspension seat; L3400 has flip seat with spring. CK35 has tilt steering, L3400 does not. CK35 has horn, L3400 does not (not that...

    Insulate/Upgrade Existing Pole Barn/Shop

Hello all! I'm considering a project on an existing pole barn and thought I would ask some advice from TBN'ers. It's a typical pole barn, metal siding and roof, 24x36x8 tall with trusses on 8 ft. centers & concrete floor. I'm wanting to insulate walls and ceilings. The trusses have held up...
