    L3400HST oil drain plug size.

Needing to change the oil in the old '3400 tomorrow and need to know the drain plug size so I can pick up a couple of gaskets. The tractor is at my property 30 miles away, and while I think I have some spare crush washers there, I don't want to take the chance. Thanks guys. Edit: It's a 2006 btw.

l3400 dies soon after start up.

Full tank of diesel and was bush hogging the rear of the property for the last time this year. 20 minutes in, the rpms start to decline a little and the tractor starts to lose power. I stop and adjust the throttle and the rpms started to go back up, then right back down. After about a 5...

    l3400: 1 or 2 air filters?

This is a stupid question, but I have a 2006 l3400hst and can't remember if it has a single air filter or an inner an outer. I've been sick and haven't been using my tractor much in the last couple of years, so its been a while since I've changed the filter, but today I noticed I only had 1...

Does anyone know the cross reference # for a mobile 1 or any other easy to find, decent, oil filter? Thanks.

    Somethings burning.

A couple of weeks ago I switched over to Rotella T, and flushed the radiator. Ever since I've notice a burning smell which seems to be coming from the exhaust. My first thought was I spilled antifreeze on the block, but I don't see any and it doesn't really smell like antifreeze burning. Today...

    Sure Guard Universal Hydraulic Fluid?

Went to the local kubota dealer to get the filters and fluids for the hydraulic change and the guy at the counter (who has been there forever) talked me into buying Sure Guard instead of the Kubota oil. Nearly 1/2 the price of the Kubota udt, and he said they use and sell a lot of it. So, I said...

    l3400 oil capacity! !

No matter how warm I let her get before dropping the plugs, no matter how long I let her drain, I still can only get 5 quarts in! The manual says 6 qts., but either the manual is wrong or my dipstick is.

    Problems greasing bh75.

For whatever reason I can't seem to get any grease into a couple of the pins on my bh75. I replaced the zerks, but still cant squeeze any grease in. I purchased a pneumatic gun and even that isn't strong enough. What am I doing wrong?

Oil & Fuel  L3400 oil capacity?

The manual says 6 quarts of motor oil, but I have yet to get more than 5 in. Prior to draining I run the motor 'till warm, then drain the fluid for 30 minutes...still 5 quarts and its touching the top hole on the stick. Anybody else?

    Cleaning a quick coupler.

I used it to check my psi's, then instead of putting it in a zip-lock, I let it sit on the bench and collect dust/dirt. I need to use it now to replace the leaking one on my backhoe. Is there anything I can soak it in, or should I just blow it with the air compressor? Thanks.

Cutting tall, wet grass with a bushog.

I know the best way to dull out you lawn more blades is by cutting wet grass, but what about a bushog's blades? Being that they are blunt to begin with, does cutting when wet hurt the blades in anyway? Should I worry about the bottom of the deck?? Faye just won't go away! Thanks.
