    Mower operation

I have draft control, but my understand of draft control it is for ground engaging equipment to keep them from digging in too deep. I‘m curious to learn more here, but everything I read on this site indicates draft control is for plows and equipment that wants to basically bury itself in the...

    Mower operation

An update here on the flail mower. After doing a lot of searching on the web, I found someone else that had the exact same issues. The Fix Is as follows: 1. After leveling the flail, set the top link to tilt the frame assembly back 15 degrees. This is the manufacturers recommendation. 2...

    Mower operation

Understood and I have both types of cutters for mine but only use the hammers due to the rocky nature of this country. If you read John0829 response he is referring to a pull type cutter, which I’m not sure what he has.

    Mower operation

Good info, this is one of the reasons I got my flail. It can by adjusted with the rear remotes in and out as well as the pitch. Curious of the brand of flail you have and how you set it up.

This is the opposite of what the manual states for the rotary cutter and I’ve been setting the front height to 4.5” which I don’t think is too low. The toggle assembly is loose, so it should work. I’ll have to experiment this week and see if I can get anything to change. I’ll also try to...

    Mower operation

Pictures of the top link attachments, and just as a test I tried both without the top link attached to see what happens and the only difference I noticed is I could not pick up the implement.

Land plane for grading lumpy land (not a driveway)

I live in an area that has a lot of caliche soil. It dries rock hard in the summer. I have successfully used my land plane with scarcifers to level areas of my property. It has its place, it is not a fix all, I end up using landplane, box blade and rock rake based on what I am trying to...

1st post .LL1102 loader on 2023 MS125 need specs for 48" Piranha bar.

FWIW I had a factory tooth bar installed on my bucket when I purchased my tractor. It has worked well and I find I take it on and off quite often. Backdragging and finish work I need it removed. I also have clamp on pallet forks for the bucket and need to remove it when using them...

A year in review with my MT352HC

Doesn’t break a sweat with that size of flail. My six foot brush hog puts more load on the pto than the flail. I’d check the flail mfg info for the pto required for next size up to see if it could handle it
