I have a mid 80’s shibaura S700 with the 2cyl diesel. The battery isn’t charging. I however can use a jumper to the regulator and tap it to the positive terminal and the voltage does jump to 14.5 momentarily. This leads me to believe that the generator is functioning but the regulator is not...
