looking to buy a 3 pt tiller

Never heard of search tempest, but just tried it and it looks great! found a JD tiller I may go look at, not far away. $600 for a 6' tiller, needing a little work. Would save a grand if it is as he says... Thank you.

looking to buy a 3 pt tiller

Excellent point! Thank you. I will check those dims. Another brand, Woodmaxx is offset 10 inches to one side, I expect so that you can get right up to a fence, which I liked, but that one was a six footer and more than double the price of the King Kutter...

looking to buy a 3 pt tiller

I have a 30 hp kubota and a 47 hp branson. I will probably keep just one, but haven't yet decided. We just moved to the country where I have broken up a 4000 sq ft garden spot with a cultivator, and am getting a tiller. I am leaning toward a 5' king kutter which says 30-50hp, so it should work...

    45-50hp Help

I have 57 acres, mixed woods and open fields. I have a smaller Kubota (B7800, hst, 30 hp) and a bit larger Branson (4720, hst, 47 hp) The Kubota is a lot more nimble and most importantly, much faster when working with the FEL, which will raise/lower, while also tipping the bucket. The Branson...

People name their boats. Why not name your tractor?

Betsy is my backhoe and Bull is my dozer. They are both old junkers, but I love them dearly. My first tractor is still kubota, and my second is Branson. I cannot seem to find better names for them...

    Kubota overheating

I had the same problem on my Branson 4720H. I had rinsed with a water hose, but still overheating, so I complained to my dealer that the radiator seemed undersized...he was shocked and suggested strongly that I do a more thorough cleaning. I found a wand at Atwoods that fits the end of a water...

lost all the hyd fluid, now wont start 580m

So a few days ago, Betsy (my 580M Series II) was running fine. During the day I noticed the left stabilizer cylinder was leaking ( a drip every few seconds), so I decided to take her to the shop to get the cylinder repacked and also to have a couple of slow leaks addressed at the same time. I...

Buying Advice  Should I invest in haying equipment?

We have some investment property that can be hayed (around 10 Acres on one plot and around 40 on another). In this area, hay service costs around $20 per round bale, but hay sells for around $35, which does not make it worth much. I have two small tractors (30 hp Kubota, and 46 hp Branson) and a...

Traction  Is something wrong with my dozer?

I have a case 550 long track dozer. It is old, but works okay. I have been using it to clear my land, and it just seems to be underpowered, because when I try to push over a tree that is too big, the engine bogs down, and almost never has the umph to spin the tracks, which are probably 50% worn...

    leaky farm pond

A couple of years back, we bought a 47.5 acre horse farm with a nice pond on it. Unfortunately the pond leaks down to about a foot of water within a couple weeks of rain. I have seen it full once, and it fell about 6 inches to a foot a day until it was about two feet deep, then it slowly...

I need a part for my Branson, dealer has been trying for a month with no luck...

The rh knuckle on my 4720h branson tractor broke in two (clearly was a bad casting) and my local dealer has tried for a month to get one for me. The part number on it is TA00033467A. I found the part at yourequipmentparts.com, but it has an E on the part number, and I cannot raise anyone by...

New (old, actually) member from Tahlequah Oklahoma

I have enjoyed reading posts by all you smart guys in tractor world. I am 70, and got my first tractor about 15 years ago. Before that I lived a pretty citified life. My collection has grown to include my original 30 hp kubota, a 47 hp Branson, a Case 580M backhoe, a Case 550LT dozer, a couple...
