I have the 2016 model and it’s a shame the designers didn’t consider that some people, like me, don’t have hydraulic lifts. It is impossible for me to connect the mower pto shaft without putting the beast on ramps and crawling under it, which makes me uncomfortable.
I’ve also done it by...
Yeah maybe not, but that was only one of several frustrations. I won’t go into detail but many many aspects of the overall design are puzzling at best, at least with this model.
Thanks, to you and to all. Yeah I’m going to get some new style. We finally got the plow attached but - note we - I destroyed my 2022 man card because I had to get my wife to help. Pioneer connects should be banned now that cancel culture runs rampant. We had to cheat….took the fittings off...
Thanks. Yeah I’ve pretty much eliminated any pressure on either side at this point. I’m going to detach one set of male and female and see what’s going on when I try to connect them. I’m suspecting it’s the locking bb’s in the collar getting in the way, possibly because I can’t pull the ring...
I just don’t understand why they still won’t connect even though I’ve pressed the dimple in on both sides until a bit of goop comes out. Could it be re pressurizing instantly?
Appreciate it. Is it possible that the nipple goes in further than I’ve been depressing it? I was using the end of a screwdriver but maybe I need to try something like a skewer.
Reading all these difficulties tempts me to take the couplers off on both sides, couple them and then bolt them...
I’ve read many helpful posts about the difficulty with these but I’m still stuck. Each year when I put my snow blade on it’s a battle to get them secured. Pic is the type I have.
Today I think I found a bigger issue but would appreciate feedback. Went through all the steps to relieve...
Emax 22 owner. I haven’t installed my front snow blade in a few years and the color code rings on the four hoses have faded. The four couplers on the joystick assembly still have their colored caps.
Hoping someone can guide me so I don’t go through trial and error. Does anyone know which...
