    I am late to this party.... This may not be helpful anymore I have never used a band saw mill. I have done quite a bit of chainsaw milling. When I started I was using a ported Stihl 044 with a 32" bar and ripping chain. ripping chain is no different than any other chain except the top plate...

    used my b2650 to clean up after taking down a tree. ran it across the scale along with the truck and trailer. does anyone want to guess on weight or should i tell you 94 f250 4x4, diesel, 40 gallons of fuel, 500ish lbs in the bed my 225 lbs in the driver seat 30ft wood decked 10K car trailer...

    got a little tractor and wood time today. taking down a large ash at my rental. it was in better shape than i thought, though still not great. didn't get any before pics, but i might be able to find an older one

    added 12 yards of dirt and cleaned up the shooting berm fri. then went to my aunts and cleaned a a large cherry that had blown over (no pics)

    i built one of those several years ago.... then i built a portable shooting bench and i can stretch to 600 yards (really 597ish). I need to go back and add some more dirt and move it five yards towards the pond so i can get a true 600 200 600

    will see if someone got a picture, but i got my my 5055E stuck today. for the first time. next to the dock, had to go get the farm kubota (not my b2650) to get it out, after chaining them together, i was worried for a bit that i would have to trade the kubota out for the backhoe

    when you need ballast use what you have around you. this is a 900 lb green, white oak log hanging 6ft off the back off a 700 lb rear blade. kept the rear down very well

    broke out the GN for a couple loads..... had to make a right in town at a traffic light so i swung wide left to come tight right and had 2 cars come inside me to make the right. i hate people

    MTronic came out on the 661 along with other changes. and i second the locust being really hard dry. i broke a couple teeth on a chain milling some "rustic" steps

    70+cc. i use a 92cc. run a 36" bar. it gives me about a 31" cut. did some milling last monday.

    thanks the work is in the set up. actually time running the saw though the wood varies with how sharp the chain is, but is only about a minute at most with that wood another of the cedar

    did a little chainsaw milling. didn't take as many photos as i should have. don't know what i will do with the cedar but thought i would turn the walnut into lie edged coffee tables and sell them. tractor is my father's DK40. the cab makes it real hard to see the end of the forks
