I talked to the parts guy at Ag Meier, he said the drive belt is 64” and the longer belt for the blades is 124”. That is exactly what I ordered. Got the longer belt on, but the 64” is being a pain in the butt.
So I broke a belt that drives all 3 pulleys for the blades. I decided to order extra belts in case I do this again in the future. My manual says the drive belt is a KTR131-64 part number. The other belt for the blades is KTR131-124. I assumed the last number was the length of the belt. I ordered...
Anyone got a pic of where this spring connects to? If won't stay on the correct cutting height and jumps to the lowest setting. Spring came off and is hanging from the handle, but I don't know where it is suppose to connect to. Thanks....
Was running my rotary cutter when my wife notice fluid coming out from under the seat of my L3400. Looked like hydraulic fluid to me. Is there some sort of overflow up under the seat or something? What gives? Turned off the PTO and the fluid stopped coming out. Going to have to remove the seat...
My wife works for a company that sells ash from the coal plant here in town. We decided to purchase some and try it out. Her boss gave us a 25% employee discount. We needed 50 yds of material for the driveway and also I put it in my tractor shed as well. This is what they call TOP or screened...
Anyone have a formula for making your oak trees really grow? I had at one time a recipe from my dad that used something like ammonium sulfate and copper or something like that. I can't seem to find it, so what do you recommend?
I am wanting to replace the blades on my rotary cutter that I got from my dad. Ever since I got it from him I have to have the cutter at an angle left to right for it to cut level. Of course one skid always seems to dig into the ground. Upon looking underneath the cutter I noticed that one of...
I notice today while shredding that my loader will slowly go down after a while. I changed my fluids yesterday for the 50 hr service. What would cause this? Air in the lines?
Going to do my 50 hour service tomorrow on the tractor. What do you guys recommend for draining the motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and front axle oil into? I should have right at 10 gallons all together.
What is the correct way to angle your box blade to crown a driveway if you do not have a hydraulic top link? I don't want to bend my top link again.
Thanks.:D
Well yesterday I was working on the driveway with the BB. I was tilting the BB some so I could crown the driveway. Had to extend my top link all the way to hook back up to the BB. When I lifted the BB, then end of the top link with the threads closest to the BB bent. Can I buy just the one...
Well I got my new tractor shed installed this morning. The guys only took 40 minutes to install it. I am going to get 5ft galv posts for the corners and middle on both sides to cement in the ground and then bolt through the posts and galv tubing to anchor it down better. Then I am...

We had 5" of rain in about 2 hours on Thursday. Decided to burn the brush pile and use the tractor to push the brush back up on the pile. Wrong.....ground is just really soupy still so I guess I will wait until this weekend for it to dry up quite a bit so I don't mess the yard up too much.
