Ok guys I need some help,I have a 3830 kubota that I do most (75%) of my mowing with. I need something I can put around the house,here are the three cub lt1050 23hp kohler 50" @ H/D for $1999,J/Deere x300 17hp kawasaki 42"@dealer for $2500, and the little orange kubota T1770 17hp kohler...

Iam looking at both of these tractors but what concerns me is the plastic hood on these units. Has any body had any problem with these hoods breaking? I also need to know about a cross reference # on the oil filters,they are about $12.00 at H/D.
