Bum Puzzled 275 gallon paletized tank with 2 inch gate valve

I got me a great deal on these tanks. Free to be exact. It has a gate valve that appears to be 2 inch Male NPT but its not the 2 inch Female NPT is just a hair to small. Any of you run into these tanks before and know what the thread is?

    VersaWrench

About 4 years ago I came across a pile of 5 Industrial VersaWrenches (31-1) for a dollar each. They were heavy and I figured for a buck even if its junk its worth a try. They have been tool box queens up until 2 weeks ago. I had one in each vehicle and 2 in the outbuilding and I think my dad...

Anyone have plans for a wick applicator I could build?

Subject says it all, anyone? All the old threads I found links are dead.

Looking for 3-point adapter for Loader

I have searched the site and found several of the opposite of what I want, adapters that let loader accessories be used with the 3-point. I am actually looking for something I can put on my loader arms that allows me to pick up and manipulate 3 point attachments to assist with maintenance jobs...

    Home Build Log Splitter

How much should I expect to spend. I am at a bit of a x-roads. I can buy a log splitter for under 1000 dollars, to actually build one and make it worth my time I think I would have to be able to build it for under 400. Is that realistic? I have a 3038e that would be running the hydraulics.

    DeWalt 36V Tools

I figure this is as good a place as any. I have owned a set of DeWalt cordless 36V tools for about 3 years now, I got them when they first came out. They were without a doubt the best tools I ever owned until a few weekends ago. I was building some pyramid ramps for my truck to replace my old...

    Problem with dirt

Some of you may have been following my adventure in the attachments forum with the box blade, and the small sub-thread in the repairs forum about fixing a tooth. We have a new problem. The guy I helped grade his land has about (we are guessing based on volume calculations) about 40 tons of...

    Busted BB Scarifirer tooth

I broke one of the teeth on my BB this weekend. It looks like the teeth are crimped/punched on. Where can I get a replacement tooth? What tool do I use to get the old tooth off? How do I crimp on the new tooth? Its a BB2072 from frontier. Any information is appreciated.

    Box Blade - too big?

I am looking at getting a frontier box blade. I originally wanted a 60 or 66 inch but they have none in stock and I need it for this weekend. The guy at the tractor dealer says I can rent the 72 inch model for 100 bucks and if I like it I can put the 100 towards the purchase price which I...

Using pallet forks as a makeshift lift for implements/small autonomous units.

So I purchased some pallet forks from EverythingAttachments.com and they have been probably one of the more useful purchases. I have used them for just about everything other than lifting a pallet. I was working on my ZTR yesterday changing the oil, and I used a 3.5 ton jack on the front frame...

    Very happy chain saw owner

After much research here and on arborsite. I decided to get a MS 290 Farmboss, so far I have used it about 20 hours. I only have a 16 inch bar on it which seems to be great. Today was the largest job yet. Took down a dead 40 foot maple. It was great. One of the negatives people often...

    Washing your tractor

How many times a year? I plan on giving mine a good wash this fall after the final brush hog. I guess I would say once a year, same for my attachments, going to clean them once a year after the season is over.

Brush Hogging and Tree Trimming at the same time

Last time I did some brush hog work I noticed the ROPS smacked a few branches one of them be mulberry (that made quite a mess). This time I took a pair of 3 foot handled nips with me and when I would pull up to a tree I would trim the branches without even leaving the seat. Anyone else do...

    Alfalfa field

Not sure which forum this should go in, so sorry in advance if I picked wrong. The farmer up the street from me normally hays my alfalfa field for me, and he is currently going through cancer treatments and is completely down for the count. He had another farmer that was going to do it for him...
