    Winterize your sprayer.

It might be worth a test session. Grab a couple pieces of pool light gasket and a couple gaskets, drop them into the RV antifreeze and windshield washer fluid and see how they fair.

What Happened to being able to get small parts?

GM enters the chat. The well known intake gasket leak. 8+ hrs of work to replace a simple gasket AND a tube of gasket goop. They let it happen for a whole generation of engines.

What Happened to being able to get small parts?

We all grew up in the era of “overhead”. Those people also went out of business because they bought all the parts and no one needed them, so they sit on a shelf becoming income lost. The concept of “on demand manufacturing” started in the 80’s I think… when Japan was outclassing literally...

Yanmar just released 3 new models!

It would be nice to look at a tractor or accessories and see the provenance. These are expensive items and we all know that some global locations make garbage and others make gold. Manufacturers are chasing the dollar and consumers do the same. We all want the most for less. But the...

After Watching This Video Should Americans Let Green Tractors Sit On Lots Unpurchased?

If JD wants to make them in a foreign country they can sell them in a foreign country. /sarc The irony… aren’t most all of the other competitors/manufacturers actual foreign companies, designed, sourced, built, in foreign countries and sold here. But people won’t buy a Deere?

What is the fastest way to burn a pile of logs?

I know old post; but that many logs would have made for a LOT of sellable firewood (full logs or split). $$$$

Buying Advice Just buy the darn tractor

I’m sitting in a parking lot staring at the RDO lot full of John Deere’s. If we would have bought the tractor when we first looked at them, it would have been paid off and we would be light years further ahead with our property plans. So yeah, buy the damn tractor.

Any pricing yet on the new E tractors?

I’m not opposed to being an early adopter. As long as my life doesn’t depend on the technology. An electric anything, is a toy until it can last as long or longer as an ICE based piece of equipment.

    Market Watch

My wife once said “a tractor is an investment in time. The less time you spend on projects the more projects you can complete or you can give yourself time to rest.” Equipment (shop or tractor or tool or gizmo) can almost always make the job go smoother and quicker with less chance of injury or...

1.5 acres. Am I nuts for thinking about a tractor?

Do you “need” a tractor? No! What is your time worth? You can move material with a shovel and a wheel barrow. Or a front end loader. You can rent or buy a wood chipper and still have to move the chips to storage or sales or the chipper to the wood source, or the wood to the chipper. Can do it...

    New Tractor Sales Are Declining

Tractorco.com is a few hours away from us. They used to have some smaller used/refurb import tractors for about $7-$8k. During covid they appeared to raise their prices about $2,000 per unit. Now one can’t get anything from them under $10,000. Full disclosure, I don’t know if they have the same...

    New Tractor Sales Are Declining

For 2032R ($28,300) & 2038R ($30,640) tractors, Deere is offering 3.9% for 84 months. Insane (to me) pricing.

    DIY Bridge

While not a popular opinion, getting experts involved will result in significantly more money. But theoretically it will be done right. The first time. (wink wink) Getting the government involved, could in essence, backfire. The EPA (or one of the alphabet gangs) could get involved and life...
