I understand where you’re coming from. I almost always was in the B range on my 4005. I did use low occasionally when loading a trailer or something like that. No hydro on that either.

The guy still has this tractor. I’ve tried searching on here and online without much luck. Does anyone know where to find info on this tranny without buying a service manual? I don’t want to buy a manual if I don’t buy the tractor. Thank you!

I thought it was high too but it seems on the cheaper side from what I’m finding online and local. They’ll deliver it for free. I’m not sure how much they’d let me haggle the price.
