NX 4510 New switch on Right Rear Fender

I installed two waterproof switches I bought online. I had to make a new mount plate (black acrylic from Amazon) because I couldn't find anything to fit the existing holes that WERE waterproof. I have installed two light pods below (I don't have a pic of those, but will try to add tonight) that...

    Adding Electrical outlet to tractor

I use this little coleman with my pole saw strapped to pallet forks. I have a wireless remote on/off from amazon to turn it on. If you look closely, you can see the box plugged into the outlet. cost me $11. It's went up a little in price, but works nonetheless...

Anybody with a Bestco Flail Mower Unhappy with anything at all??

Thought I'd update after adjusting my rear roller height and top link again, I was able to get a great cut first time through AND was able to pick up ground speed with my farmer's helper. Here's a few pics field mowing tall grass mixed with foxtail and lespedeza. Some of the areas were just over...

    Backup camera added to RK55HC

No, its not lazy. I couldn't see my pallet fork tips when they are right off the ground and level. I can now. I can also swivel my rear one and keep an eye on haybine and baler without breaking my neck all day! Last week I used the rear one to watch my flail mower while trimming the side ditch...

Making a counterbalance for my mx5200...give me your opinions...please

I made this one from a pickle barrel. Dropped in (10-1/2) 80lb. bags. At an estimate of 86 lbs/bag cured + the barrel, stabilizer, and other pieces, I think its around 930lbs. I dropped in a couple pvc pipes for tool storage if needed, and didn't pour all the way to the top. I store chains in...

Anybody with a Bestco Flail Mower Unhappy with anything at all??

I'll add to the discussion that I have the std duty FH-EF175. Mainly wanted a backup for my 54" mower if it dies and to trim back pastures after grazing and couple fields that get bush hogged 3 times a year. I'll have to say initially I wasn't impressed with mowing quality with the Y knives. I...

    FEL mounted tree limb trimmer

You mean THIS Remington saw? I used (3) 5" hose clamps from TS to pin it to my forks. I use a little suitcase genny I picked up off CL for $75 and a wireless remote on/off switch from Amazon for $11 to turn it on and off. I also have a gas pole saw I can use from work platform for greater reach...

    Flail Mower Titan Flail mower

This is from the titan site. I only say this because my BETSTCO had the same assembly and I had no trouble assembling the way I described. I wondered if that issue stressed the folds, especially if there was any side to side movement (ie. smacked side of a tree, etc).

Let's see some homemade 3 point ballast!

60 gallon pickle barrel, 10-1/2 80lb bags of quikcrete (est total ~950lbs). The top and lowers are interconnected, of course. Room for a couple tools with lid off or log chain under the lid.

Absolutely new to haying, need some advise

Contrary to what others here say, yes, you can-but only with the right rotary cutter. Will the output be as plentiful as a sickle type or disc/drum- no. In fact you'll have some waste due to what you run over with the tractor that will not get cut. Doesn't sound like much until you do the...
