I'm assuming you've double checked your belt tension, but just in case not... I went through a similar frustrating experience a few years ago with my NX4510HC. Turned out to be intermittent belt slippage!

Are you sure you're not inadvertently stepping on both the forward and reverse pedals at the same time. Even slightly tweaking the other at the same time can produce that condition. Easy to do when wearing boots or large shoe size.

Was your battery charger still connected when the tractor finally started? Looking closely at your photo of the volt/ohmmeter probes, they may not have been in good contact with the battery posts when you took the reading. If your battery is truly at 10 V and your charger/starter is disconnected...

Also, as Murph notes, you might not be charging properly during operation. One quick thing to check there is the tension on your alternator belt. Trying to rule out the simple stuff.

Bingo. And since the solenoid started clicking only with the charger/starter hooked up, this strongly suggests your battery is either severely discharged (hopefully) or simply bad. Is it possible that you inadvertently left the key switch in the accessory position after the past use, and...

Athrawn17, this sure sounds like a battery issue. Since yours is only a few months old, hopefully it's good, but just not fully charged. Do you have a portable battery charger you can hook up for a few hours? But even after some time on a charger, just checking the voltage may not be enough...

jbt308, I'm late to this thread, but my first suggestion would have been to check your belt tension. When you tightened your belt, were you able to notice any excess play? I think I'd see how things work out for awhile before going to the trouble of adding a voltmeter to your cab! You may never...

Krazi- In terms of pulling power only, I think your CS2220 would probably handle a six-foot landscape rake just fine. Five-foot for sure. I've used a six-footer for 30 years on my 22hp Kubota 2150. I agree with Jeff that an issue may be lift height with your toplink setup and ground clearance...

Ah, yes. That's what I remember seeing. Thanks Kenny! Just took a quick look at the Ignite Attachments website. Looks like industrial-strength stuff. Their 62" root grapple weighs 800 lbs! That seems a bit much for most CUTs. My 60" EA wicked root grapple is 430 lbs.
