Hi all, I own a very old 100+ year old "sawmill shanty" farmhouse that has some type of rock wool or loose insulation laying up in the attic. It's only about 3" or 4" deep. I suspect it was put in sometime in the 1960's during an extensive remodeling done by my family when I was a mere toddler...
