The HST pedal switch is a common failure point on these tractors, mine went around 600hrs and was glad that I had noticed a few other people had issues so I knew where to go. You can unplug the switch and throw a jumper wire in the next time it acts up and see what it does

The majority of soot is accumulated during startup. They run quite clean after that, very little smoke even when under heavy load so people who do many starts and don't work them hard enough to naturally burn them off will have more issues from what I see

So by the sound of that there aren't any good options for a hydraulic motor on these tractors? I have been looking to find out who makes the valve and see what other options they have but no luck so far. I would try and make my own spool up for the existing valve to see if it's possible to...

Can't imagine any air getting into a sealed system, always thought it was to increase cylinder speed. My new holland has regen as the second position so it isn't an issue with the hydraulic motor and gives great control/featherability (? Lol)

That is the same as mine then - was hoping it was different.. I am using that function on a hydraulic motor as well and have the same problem.

I would really like to get away from the regen position as the first function on the bucket dump portion of the loader valve. I see that the B3030 and possibly the B3000 use a loader valve that physically looks like it could fit but not sure if it functions any differently than what I have now...

Orbital motor = hydraulic motor, I'm using it to rotate the blower chute

I'm using the curl/dump positions to run an orbital motor - it works fine and can feather as needed to the left but to the right has you jumping past the first section and into the second detent part which lacks control. I have put restrictors inline to limit the speed but it isn't the ideal...

I would like to contact whoever makes the valve and see if they have a different spool that does away with the weird regen feature on the bucket dump

I wonder if anyone knows who makes the loader valve on the B3350 (and likely many other Kubota products). I took a look at the valve on my tractor but don't see anything obvious.
