I have a B2650 and I just went out and measured: 1.5” x 3” I had a B2601 before this and it was the same (I swapped u-bolt clamps from the 2601 to the 2650)

I have the LP 3rd function on my B2601 with 435 loader...the solenoid is mounted on the loader bracket behind a small guard on the right side forward of the floor board. It stays with the tractor after the loader is detached. 2 hydro pioneers from the loader then connect to that...obviously...
