I have a 140 Farmall that the lift whines all the time and will not lift my disc harrows but a few inches. Anyone have any ideas?

Howdy folks. I have just joined here and thought I would tell you a little about myself. I was rasied on a farm in South Carolina and now residing in Georgia. I am retired from the Railroad and really enjoying retirement. I have a 140 Farmall and use it for gardening and other odd jbs.
