I would of but I actually swapped (plus some cash) with a guy that had these on a ZD331 for sale that wasn't too far away.
I messaged 3 people on FB Marketplace that had ZDs with tweels for sale and offered the swap plus cash and 1 guy said yes, I was pleasantly surprised. It saved me a pile...
I'll be using this on trails surrounded by Bois D'Arc trees with huge thorns, so Tweels were in order. The BX done okay with the thorns once the front tires were tubed, but every now and then a thorn would still take out a BX front tire. I believe the ZD rear tires are thinner.
These tweels...
Asking for my uncle:
Anyone have experience with Skags or Kubota gas engines?
2014 72" Scag Turf Tiger with a 3 cylinder Kubota liquid cooled engine, 900 hours.
Owner states it is down on power and believes it to be the distributor.
Would like to hear others experiences before purchasing.

There is a ZD331 60" with 1500hrs and 2 year old rear Tweels for $6,800... I'm tempted to add it to my collection and see if I like it better than the 1211 or maybe just swap tires, clean it up a little more, and resell it. I think I could get my money back relatively easy.
One big reason I...
It's a shame that the tier 4 regs screwed this segment up so bad. That 30ish HP point was such a sweet spot for diesel mowers like the ZD and F series... not too mention small L size tractors.
However, I take comfort knowing our government overlords have made the right decision for humanity as...
From what I read, as long as you aren't cutting overly tall and thick grass, the 1211 will move along fine with the 72" deck. I imagine if you then throw hills on top of all that, you'd probably wish you had the 331.
I like shiny new equipment, so hard for me to say keep the old one lol
I welded up the seat suspension and it works great. I'm going to mow with it a few times just to make sure everything is good, then pull it apart, add in a plate so it hides things under the seat (like the factory mount), and paint it.
Speaking of collection.... one whole side of my shop is now orange... I suppose I could sell the GR, but it sure is a neat mower and I got a good deal on it, so it will stay. The kids can learn to mow on it first before graduating to something bigger.
There was a puddle under the deck where it sit all winter.
I took the gearbox off and replaced the lower seal. The bearings were all intact and spun freely, everything looked good and clean from what I could see.
So far so good but I've only used it for about 2 hours so far. Time will tell...
It's on. Huge pain in the rear. Still have to weld mounts for the bracket that keeps sit from falling forward when lifted.
I'll make a video of it in action, hopefully today.
I'm going to get wcwrything mowed that needs it then pull it apart and paint.
I finished the 3d model and cut out the parts on my CNC plasma this morning... this is for the seat base. May be a day or two before I get back in the shop to weld it up, paint, and install.
