I just purchased a JD 4005 utility tractor and I will not pay the dealer $975.00 for a sun canopy . I thought about using plywood like on my last tractor, which worked OK . Any better options out there for under $400.00 ? I looked at a tractor umbrella, don't think it would last in the brush...

Has anyone tried cutting the box part off of a box scraper to make a sort of ripper-chisel plow ? I was at my local farm store and they had a new-old stock box scraper with 6 shanks for $250.00 . It looks like it would go about 8-10 inches deep.

I own a NH tc30 with 30 hp and want to upgrade to something in the 35 to 40 hp range. I have about 10 miles between food plots and I don't want to buy a trailer. Which compact tractor has the highest top speed ? It woud be nice to find one that would go 20 plus mph. Thanks !
