When i engage pto it stay engaged for a second than kicks out???how do i adjust or repair when i do put pto in it rakes now almost have to force it in

Recently got this tractor wonder if it is a good one to fix up or not.I payed 1500 for it 4wd seems too have just few minor problems like fuel issues and pto engageing any advice or opinions would be great

my tractor runs for short while and than dies any ideas also my pto can only be pulled up to activate if tractor is off grinds and wont go in while running
