This is an old thread but I still use the boom that I built 11 years ago. Zero problems with the tractor or the boom. Lots of use on both. Enjoy your tractors. I enjoy using mine and I'll be 85 next month. Harvey

Got around to building a little boom for my GC2400. One pin in the receiver and I can carry it in one hand. Saves my creaky back. Harvey

Just got my new Massey Ferguson GC2400 L. Looking forward to a lot of good information on this site. I enjoy building things in my little hobby shop so I think I will start with a 5 ft. bucket mounted boom to save my 73 year old back. Nice to be here. Harvey
