We purchased a small 9 acre farm a few years ago, and am sure enjoying NOT living in town any more. The place has about 7 acres in grass hay, and the rest is lawn and building spaces. We had an area of just under an acre fenced for our dogs last year, and they are enjoying the freedom to run. Our neighbor says he enjoys seeing 6 Collies running in the field. The are getting all the exercise that they need chasing ground critters and anything that catches their interest.
