    Engine operating temperature

Since I installed the Curtis heater in my cab I noticed that the coolant lines to it only get luke warm. I checked the radiator hoses on the engine after running it for a half hour (no work) and they were the same...luke warm. Is this a thermostat issue or does a diesel need to be under load to...

    Curtis tuck-away-heater

UPS showed up at 5:30pm with my Curtis cab heater. At 8:30pm I drove my 2210 outside and warmed her up to see if I had leaks or a priming problem. Rotary Brooms

Anyone know of a decent rotary broom for a reasonable price for my JD2210?? My dealer wants $2500 for a 51" one and I think that's outrageous. Thanks

    Forks

Here's a pic of hauling an entire 60' 10" diameter Alder with the bucket forks. BTW, the 55lb wheel weights are off my 20hp Craftsman garden tractor. Much cheaper than JD's and fit perfectly.

    Bucket forks

Here's my homemade forks made from 3x5" 1/4" steel tubing. Cost $150. The ripper was $50.

    Single blade ripper

I built a single blade ripper from a car rear leaf spring and some square steel tubing. The bottom end has a forward pointed hook and the leading edge is sharpened. On my JD2210 it will drop and dig 14" in about 6" of forward movement. It cuts roots around stumps like crazy and I can break up...
