I have a mid 1960's ford 3400 diesel---
had a hydro leak which gradual drained my fluid to the point where the lift quit working. I fixed the leak (cross shaft seals in lower case )
and refilled the fluid but the lift would not work. Then screwed a valve and hose into hydraulic pump and...
