Hydraulics still messed up 2615 HST also what battery?

Hey guys I really need your help. First of all does anyone know the largest battery size that fits well in a 2615HST? What about running a deep cycle battery? Also a repost from a while back because I still have the problem: I have a 2004 Mahindra 2615 hydrostatic tractor. This past summer I...

    Hydraulics "jumpy" and noisy

Hey guys I really need your help. Posted this quite a while ago but didn't get much help. I have a 2004 Mahindra 2615 hydrostatic tractor. This past summer I let a buddy of mine borrow it (first mistake I know) While he had it the ailing bucket control valve finally failed completely. So he...

    Mahindra erratic hydraulics

Hey guys I really need your help. I have a 2004 Mahindra 2615 hydrostatic tractor. This past summer I let a buddy of mine borrow it (first mistake I know) While he had it the ailing bucket control valve finally failed completely. So he marked all the hose connections, removed the hoses, spilled...

    Homemade chute rotator perfected

Ok lets try pics again. Some images facing the wrong way but you get the point. It works slick. I wrapped the spool on the rotator winch to make it a bigger diameter to change my gear ratio. Now the speed on the chute rotator is PERFECT! Not too slow but not so fast that you...

    Homemade chute rotator perfected

So after two seasons I think I may have just about perfected the ultimate "Low budget, quickly built, reliable, good functioning, snowblower chute rotator and deflector actuator" First you buy two cheap 12v ATV winches. It doesn't really matter what brand, if it has a roller fairlead or not...

Ignition switch is junk on my 2615

So I bought a universal ignition switch and some washers to make it fit the existing hole in the dash. I bought it at Tractor Supply for less than $20. Well see how long this one lasts.

is there any way to slow down a DC motor?

Well I've got about 50 times the amount of power I need. I guess I could go with pulley or chain set up but I like the set up I have now.

is there any way to slow down a DC motor?

Is there any way to slow down a winch motor besides re-gearing it? I was thinking maybe a heavy duty resistor wired in series with the motor kind of how they do on heater blowers for the different speeds.

My Winter snow moving set up (with pictures)

Well near the end of the year last winter my winch chute rotator died on me. I left it all year until two weeks ago when my dad took it apart got me. He dumped about a cup of water out of the winch motor. The way I had it mounted (motor down) the water ran right down in there. :-( Much to my...

Draft lever mounted gun fighter type switching handle

Anyone done this mod on they're tractor? Or maybe your tractor came with this type of control. I recently added a electric chute rotator set up on my rear mount snowblower. For now I am using the rocker switch handle that came with the 1200# winch. It works but it is chintsy & cumbersome. I...

Homemade salt sand spreader from rear axle ??

Today I saw a guy towing a homemade rig behind a Kubota UTV sanding his long driveway. I didn't have time to stop in & talk to him but it looked pretty darn cool. It had a blue chemical barrel on it with salt sand in it, a rear axle under the barrel with a shaft feeding up in the barrel or...

Yesterday it was in the 40's. Warm out agian today. No snow in sight. I should be happy but this just doesn't seem right to me. Also I just dumped a lot of time & money into setting my tractor up for snow removal. I should have got some snow removal contracts for this year,..I'd be raking in the...
