I had a similar situation with a dealer/friend. Usually that will get you a better trade in if you bought it there. Now they don't even want their own vehicles back.

Tank has a 580 CGA valve. I'd bet it's Helium, Nitrogen, Argon or Argon CO2 Mix. The Distributor won't be able to tell you what it is and they will suggest that you blow it down, purge and refill. As would I.

Weldcote Metals and Washington alloys are good resources to read about these wires. Shows composition and suggested usage. I use t-11 to save on gas when ever it makes sense.

I'm glad people do this. I picked up a new looking 026 Pro at a pawn shop for $40. Had gas in the oil tank and oil in the gas tank. The girl at the counter had no idea why it wouldn't start.

I think with common sense, a bit of hands on and a few U-tube vids most people can get the just of it.

You can do some high temp soldering with that setup but if you want to do some real brazing or welding you would be better off with an Oxygen-Acetylene kit. It's a fun way to build, fix and repair.

I have a 3 bank NOCO in my boat. It will charge Lith Ion or Lead acid batteries. Pretty versatile. I also have a jump pack that has been awesome for remote service. So far so good.

I think the wire is hot while on jog for loading wire. The idea is just super fast wire feed speed to hurry up the loading of the gun. Usually the jog stops just before the wire comes out so you often have to trigger again to finish. Often it's best to remove the contact tip prior to feeding...

My Bad. It's not a Noco 10 it's a Noco Boost Plus GB40. Instantly jump starts anything with a battery so far..

Have the 3 bank Noco in my boat and the Noco 10 to use around the shop. Both perform perfectly. Jump start feature of the 10 will put a smile on your face.
