best place to sell something?

besides the classified section here, where is the best place to list attachments for sale these days? back when i was a kid, there were the 'truck trader' and 'equipment trader' magazines in the newspaper rack (that's how long since i've shopped around for used equipment). i suppose those still exist, but is there anything better out there now? you'd think with the internet, there would be lots of things to use.

i have a JD 59/359 front mount snowblower i don't use any more.

Craigslist was the standard for the past 20 yrs but facebook has gained a lot of viewers. I suppose using both would be best.

CL or FB Marketplace. I like FB much better, for selling. When buying, I check both.

The locally owned FM radio station still has a free "for sale" daily feature here. Not used very often, apparently.

FB Marketplace and usually there are local buy and sale groups that get a lot of activity. I sold 2 motorcycles this weekend on FB marketplace. Both were gone in less than 24 hours.

wow! i suspect my snowblower will be a bit less sought after than motorcycles, but 24 hrs would be great! lol

Yeah timing may be bad for that. Lots of people don't want to buy out of season stuff unless it's a fire sale. I have known I was going to sell my motorcycles for at least 6 months. I waited until a pretty weekend after income tax returns should be in to list them.

agreed that this is not necessarily the right time to sell it, but it was stuck in the back of the lean-to so i was going to wait until the weather got better to get it out. i'm in no hurry to sell it. what i mean about 'not sought after' is that the market for it will be much smaller for it than your motorcycles. one would have to have the right tractor and be in the general area....so that will be very few ppl!

You aren't. I plan to buy a boat this fall... and may trade my snowsled for it.
