OP solved the problem by page 5, now up to page 11.
My only thought is, I'm amazed how many people are saying "Pull on it"
and/or "Hammer on it".
FYI, there are ball or roller bearings, among other components, inside the case that don't respond
well to shock loads. A puller that pulls on the yoke and pushes on the end of the PTO shaft is the
only smart way to get the yoke off without possibly causing more problems.
Hammering the yoke on was the first mistake. Glad it worked out.

Yes, a great way to cause oil leaks as well as expensive damage to repair.

A bit of grease on the shaft and yoke works really well for me. If I can't lever off a stuck pto with a big screwdriver, it is time to go to plan B which doesn't include brute force or a hammer.

It is amazing how many PTO mount/unmount problems were solved when I started greasing the PTO stub shaft and yoke receiver before attaching things.

Well, by now you know that you shouldn't have hammered it on so I won't text any more about that. You should be able to get it off by heating the entire engaged portion with oxy-acetelene and tapping gently. You may need to heat until just slightly red and that could take some time so don't be impatient.

Good luck.

This is apt to cause a lot less damage. That much heat on a tractor that small is apt to cause a lot of damage to the drive line.

Farmall went out of business! If only they'd put a condom on their PTO's... :p
International Harvester (IH), which produced the Farmall brand, sold its farm equipment division to Tenneco in 1984, the Farmall brand itself wasn't entirely gone, as Case IH revived it in 2004, and Farmall tractors are still produced today.

Heat.... Make the thing expand, then the hammer and ratchet strap.

Never figured out the advantage of using Kriol as a penetrant with PBlaster works better and is much cheaper. If you are really a cheapskate, use a 50-50 mixture of Acetone and red ATF in a spray bottle.

Kroil reminds me of Marvel Mystery Oil. Basically worthless stuff that is expensive.
"Kroil, the Oil that creeps". A lot of folks swear by it, but I'm with you. I bought the advertising line a long time ago and bought a gallon can of it. Never found anything that it worked well on. Still have most of the gallon left.

I wouldn't try brute force. I had a PTO shaft on a tiller that was locked up. I tried pulling on it with the loader (brute force). Didn't work. I sprayed the heck out of it with PB Blaster, put strap through the PTO yoke, and hooked it to a come a long on a tree and applied tension. I let it sit overnight and kept spraying it with PB Blaster. Then, I took a hammer and did a tap, tap, tap. It came right apart.

If spraying oil on it doesn't work, try brake cleaner, carb cleaner or solvent. A soft touch is better than brute force.
Kroil is almost the best but to penetrate and possibly soften the paint 50/50 ATF and Acetone test the best. Otherwise I agree with this post by air biscuit

I looked at a picture of the pto on your tractor. I would use caution if you decide to use the tractor to pull pull against the pto shaft. The pto housing could be cracked or broken if you snatch too hard. A puller would be best if it could be made to work. Applying some heat to the Adapter Sleeve will cause the tube to expand slightly which may loosen it enough to be tapped off (do not overheat). Use solvent as mentioned already. You might also try gently tapping a wedge (wood splitter etc) between the Adapter Sleeve and the pto housing. Hope this helps!
