I had a big hickory fall a few years ago, impaling a corner survey marker. I thought the neighbor moved the pin, nope the tree hammered it into the ground.

Press the tractor bucket up against one side and drive a wedge into the other side.
Or stand in the bucket and use an axe to split the wood at your feet... Should be pretty easy as it has to be punky for the post to go through it like that.

What are the odds? Figure the tree has to hit near the center of the tree. Figure the width between posts. Divide the two and that will give you the odds. Just a rough figure 50-50. :unsure:

I would just use my power tool 20V small circular saw. A few passes, and it would be off. No need to pound nor hammer any more to the post or ruin the fence mesh.
