Gentlemen,
May I introduce the Kioti HX 1151?
It is a beast! The story of how I wound up buying it is a bit long, but here is the summary.
I was working on getting into custom haying, so I need a larger tractor (my original was a 2014 Kioti 7320 open station. Solid tractor.) I traded in and up for a 2021 New Holland Workmaster 95.
It worked okay for 350 hours (spanking new tractor) and then transmission took dump on me and locked up mid-woek.... It had minor problems on the way there, clutch failure, electrical fuses popping when I hit a bump hard, etc, but for the most part; it did it's job. The dealership was awesome to work with. Solid fellas. They brought out a loaner tractor for free while mine got worked on. It was the same model as mine, but the next tuned motor size (mine was 95 and this loaner was 105).
This loaner worked flawlessly for 350hr and then I lost all brakes on a hill while backing up. Fortunately I had my batwing on and it gracefully stopped my tractor when I jackknifed it... They sent a tech out and he ordered the tractor back to them. They brought me another loaner. They had run out of the Workmaster series because of haying season and tractor problems (a red flag to me. You shouldn't have many/any problems on new tractors.)
The new loaner they brought out was a New Holland T5 120 electro-command. Nice tractor and definitely an upgrade from the Workmaster series. This thing had a suspended cab! It was fun. It had minor things like day one the parking brake spring **** out of the hand brake... For the most part though, it just worked. I disliked the loader arms on it only because it was operated by electric over hydraulic and in this tractor's case, my brain ran faster than it's response time. I used this tractor for 300hr.
How I wound up with a Kioti:
I went to my dealer to get netwrap and this beautiful tool was sitting there on the front drive just calling to me when I pulled up! It has everything you want on a tractor. After several days of crunching numbers and specing it out compared to similar tractors; I traded my Workmaster 95 (which they had just fixed) up to the Kioti HX 1151.
I'm 115hr in on this tractor and am excited everytime I hope into it. Lol, it's awesome!
Time will tell, but I think it is just going to work.
Sorry for the read! Now, for a tractor picture. Jk, I'll post a few.
