Hello,

Only have about 45 hours of seat time with my global / euro attachment system on a 5m series tractor at this point. I was using my AP12G pallet forks this weekend and something that's new to me in comparison to SSQA attachments is in the fully curled forward position the forks (and bucket when using that) will sort of float/dangle/swing.

One time after dumping a load of brush in the fully curled forward position the entire fork attachment frame & forks fell off. I was not able to reproduce it following that but I am puzzled, as the bottom pins should prevent that from happening. I guess it's feasible they weren't fully locked in but I am pretty confident they were.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

Thank you.

If the bottom pins are seated in, it can not happen.
I suppose it may be possible for brush to actuate the disconnect arm.

As long as the pins go through the ears in the attachment, it's pretty much impossible for it to come out.

That’s what I thought and yet they did. I will continue to investigate.

After you swap and curl back all the way you should be able see and hear the pin spring into the latched position. If you go to max dump they should not be swinging free, if they are the latching pin did not engage properly.

Impossible to come off IF the pins were properly in place when the attachment was coupled.

If you picked up the attachment WITH the pins already latched, you can use the attachment until it falls off, like you experienced.

Always curl attachment back fully, then tip fully ahead to confirm pins latched before using.

That happened to me. My Kioti came with a single lever that worked both sides of the SSQA and brush knocked it loose, and I dropped my grapple into a fire.

At the time because of my accident Everything Attachments modified their wicked root grapple with bars to help "defend" the SSQA from getting tripped and I started leashing down the single SSQA lever my Kioti came with. Eventually I decided the SSQA system that came with my tractor was a poor design (it broke three times requiring welding to fix every time) and modified it to get rid of the single lever in favor for a single 1-5/16" nut.

Unpublished comedy with my then newest welder that at the time, I didn't know the settings.
