Tractor is 4 cyl desil. Stopped to make a mechanical adjustment, does not restart. All fuses OK. Seat switch that requires an operator on board functional. Voltage at starter 12,5, Does this seem like an electrical issue? If so, what have I not checked?
One unusual event. I'm working along, the engine backfires once accompanied by a puff of black smoke. No apparent effect. Switched off to make a mechanical adjustment. Could not restart.
FWIW (new) engine has 300 hours. Rest of the tractor 1300 housrs.
