That didn't have anything to do with brakes, only 4WD.

A bright green LED has been mounted in the dash slighty above the headlight switch assembly. The LED is visible in the Alabama sunshine. A wire has been run from the LED to the front wheel assist lever and onward to the accessory power under the seat. I am now waiting for a limit switch, with a roller, from Amazon.

I got around to installing a sensor and light to indicate I’m in 4x4 on my L 3901, need to print a 4x4 label for next to the light.

The problem is, I sometimes don’t realize I’m still in 4x4, the light is an added reminder.

My brother and I used a lever arm momentary limit switch. The switch is wired to be normally closed. The switch is mounted so that in 2WD the lever is in the open position therefore no LED. When the FWD control is moved, the switch closes and the LED is on.

The LED is mounted near the headlight control on a Yanmar SA425. The LED is visible even in the bright sunshine of south Alabama.
