Not much new to report on the concrete pad. It got nailed by a young lady driving one of those heavy delivery vans for amazon that are made by rivian. She pulled a hard u-turn around my driveway island and didn't care one bit not to hit the concrete on her way. No issues noted though, thankfully. Edit: just realized that is the rivian van tire front tread in the picture below, haha.

My daughter and her friends are using it more than anyone else so far, for their chalk adventures. The broom finish really grinds up chalk sticks quickly!

Plenty of uses for a concrete slab!
Chalk art was about the only use my 25x30 basketball court slab ever got... Until I built a pole barn over it 25 years later.

Nice work btw.

Kids bugging you? Give them a bucket of chalk and send them out to the driveway. They'll always come up with some great stuff!

I have a sister that can do stuff like this... I just shake my head.

Had all 6 grandkids here and they were playing with chalk on the driveway. Somehow they decided to lay down and get their outlines traced. Great fun, but when they left it looked like a horrible crime scene.

Haha yep. We are definitely beating some summer boredom with chalk time lately. It's been hot and steamy most days but thankfully the biting bugs are not bad at all.
